Our New Place

Our apartment door - St Saviours Wharf Tower Bridge - also further along our walk to work! The Shad Thames area - the street just outside of our apartment. The buildings are all old converted warehouses that used to stock spices etc and the bridges you can see is where they used to roll the barrels between the warehouses to get the stock to the ships. The bathroom!! - The upstairs of our flat going down! The top of the stairs, bed would be on the left and straight ahead is the picture below. Wardrobe - but actually it's also the walkway through to the bathroom. Bedroom (see the rail of the balcony). The window is also at the top (in line with the one downstairs) but the curtains cover both windows - floor to ceiling - have to be closed from downstairs! There is also a fancy winder to open the upstairs window! Up the stairs to the bedroom and bathroom Kitchen - off the lounge Lounge - see the windows - the creek and ducks are out there. Josh's new TV - the place came with a little TV so Josh got this one - 42" LED. Other end of the lounge - see the stairs, there is also an entrance way for all my shoes! Yeah! before you get to the front door. We have moved house (back into our own place) in Shad Thames - which is just under Tower Bridge. It is really handy, Josh walks to work and I walk to London Bridge Station and catch a 12 minute train! We moved last weekend but it has taken us until today to get the internet! No Sky until Sunday - typical and useless! The place is a duplex, so the bedroom, bathroom is upstairs on a mezzaine floor - but we have heaps of space and some ducks on the creek outside. The creek runs off the Thames (acutally it's the one in Oliver Twist), it fills up with water at radom times during the day and then it drains! We moved two weekends ago but have spent the last two weekends unpacking and buying coat hangers - for all Josh's clothes of course!
This week Josh had oral surgary so he can get an implant - ouch!
