Mike, Dave, Lou T, Conrad, Nicky (Mike’s friend and girlfriend), Josh and I all went to Sicily for the long weekend. We got a really early Ryanair flight which meant the taxi picked us up at 3.30am and we took off at 6.30! We had hired a couple of cars, so when we landed at Palermo (north coat of Italy) we picked up the cars and drove about an hour and a half to a town walled Cefalu where we stayed in a really beautiful coastal hotel for Saturday and Sunday night. Saturday afternoon we spent the time relaxing on the balcony and enjoying the sun before heading into town to do some sightseeing and get dinner. Then on Sunday some of the others went out a did a bit of sightseeing but Josh and I took it easy with Lou on the private beach! You walk down the steps to the water where they have concreted a platform for sunbathing and swimming. The water was so clear! But also so cold! Josh and Lou went for a swim but not me!
