South of France: Day 2 Bordeaux to Toulouse
St Serninn
Toulouse for dinner
The town hall.
River - waterfront.
Toulouse
St Serninn
March Fayne
We visited the town of Borac and a local vineyard – March Fayne which produces a nice sauternes wine (we even purchased a bottle). – still in Bordeaux. We drove then to Toulouse (actually we drove around the hotel about 3 times trying to get into the car park!). We walked around Toulouse and saw Basilique St Serninn – France’s largest Romanesque structure. The tower is 13th century and the spire 15th century.
