Today we left NZ and said goodbye to everyone at 7.30pm - so nice to see everyone and Marz's wedding was amazing! We arrived in San Fransisco at 11am and caught a taxi to our hotel the Argonaut - it has a nautical theme. We enjoyed a nice shower before heading out and taking a walk around Fisherman's Wharf. We went to Pier 39 and saw the seals and had clam chowder and prawns on the pier! Josh ordered a beer that came wrapped in brown paper bag - just like a homeless alcoholic - love it! We had a nice dinner at a local seafood restaurant and enjoyed halibut cheeks, oysters, clams and crabs to celebrate a belated 8th wedding anniversary. Oh and I should not forget to mention that we started the evening with the free wine happy hour that occurs in the hotel each evening - we will enjoy all of them!
