Peru Panorama: Saturday 27th to Sunday 11th September 2011 Day 1: Saturday 27th August

We flew today from Heathrow to Lima, Peru via Miami. We did this with American Airlines – BIG MISTAKE! The first flight to Miami took 9 hours and AA charge $6 per alcoholic beverage! An alcohol free flight for us! We had a transit for 2hrs in Miami before going 6 hrs to Lima, also have to pay for alcohol plus there was no TV in the back of the seat! We arrived after having been up for about 27 hrs, we where picked up from the airport to take an hour trip to the hotel to be told we would be leaving at 3.30am to go back to the airport! - Hence getting 3 hours sleep!. After being up for about 30hours and being told this information you can imagine the mood!
