Rhodes Memorial
Today we checked out of the Radisson at 9.30am and went to Rhodes memorial - some nice young men took some photos of us. We had breakfast at the tea gardens and again it was wonderfully sunny.
We drove to Stellenbosch, had a walk around the town and took some pictures. Stellenbosch is in the wine district so there are heaps of vineyards here. We picked one – Morgenhof whe4re we had lunch and walked around the grounds. We bypassed the wine tasting – as 3 days of drinking by now, it was all getting too much for us! We checked into Lanzarac Manor at 2pm. Lanzarac is a vineyard also – we went on a cellar tour and by 3.30pm felt we could handle a little wine tasting. At 5pm we headed down to the Spa and had an hour long body massage – in fact it felt so good Josh and I went in and out of sleep – only difference was I actually snored a couple of times! Josh went for a run whilst I soaked in a massive claw foot bath, before we had dinner at the manor at 8pm.
