Cape Town City
Castle of Good Hope
Constantia
As a result of too much sleep the night before I woke up at 6.30am this morning! We had a beautiful breakfast with excellent food before heading back into Cape Town. We stopped in Constantia and looked around the Goot Constantia estate. The manor house is traditional Dutch architecture. We drove around Constantia and saw the massive walls (with electric fences)). Then we dropped our luggage off at the Westin Grand hotel and went around the Castle of Good Hope. It’s been there since the 1600’s. We walked through the city, through the Company Gardens, past the houses of parliament, library and museum. Some people where carrying guns! We walked through greenmarket square, saw the St Georges Cathedral, where Desmond Tutu was an archbishop. We returned to the hotel to check-in and where tired by this stage so we had sushi and a burger in one to the hotel restaurants before having an early night at 9pm.
