Hello again. I have some funny stories from Seaworld to add. The day was great, on return we got off our coach in Brisbane and needed to make it back to Andy's house. We waited ages for a bus that never came, then tried to hail a cab - but to no avail, they would not stop. In the process we felt like we were in Gothlam city - there were bats all up in the trees - we were told by the shop owner they were fruit bats or flying foxes - they were freaky. it took us ages to try get him to understand what that we were asking about "bats" - he got a little confused with the accent. After we had been trying to get home for an hour and a half we decided to phone andy. We waited for him outside the quality inn hotel. A lady from the hotel came out and waved at us and told us that there was a food bin up the road where we could get a free coffee!!!!! Can you believe it she thought we were homeless!! We quickly moved away and soon after andy came - thank goodness.
Anyway, today we went for a walk aroun brisbane river and caught the ferry - that's what the photos are off. it's a floating walkway and when the boats come past the walkway actually moves! very exciting - let me tell you. we played bowls later on then had an early night. Ther are these cool parrots and tonight when we went out bowling they were squalking away in the trees - it was amazing!! They also wake us up everymorning! it's really hot here, seriously you shower two or three times a day! And it's so hot and i'm showering soo much - i'm not even wearing make-up during the day! I know very amazing - for thoose of you who have never seen me without it on! I'm not complaining though - neither is josh - it's very nice and we are only going to the cold!
