Dubai 17th March - Part 2: Landmarks

Captions in reverse order i.e starting from the last.
Last photo: Is a building called the 'Twin Towers' it is owned by the sheikh and he gives 75% of the profits from the businesses inside the towers to charity.
The photo before is a traditional building with 'wind tunnels' a breeze would get caught in the tunnel and scuked down into the building where they would hang wet cloth to cool the breeze down and then trap the air till it cooled and then releases it - using it as air conditioning! I can't say that would be good enough - it was 37 degrees here on the first day and it's winter, although going into spring - hence the windstorm. However, it gets to 48 in summer!
Fourth photo with josh in the foreground is the chamber of commerce - the top of the building is rounded and the space you can see is actually a hole in the building!
Third prior: one of the many mosques seen!
Second picture: pretty gold and blue glass buildings - everything in Dubai is great! Everywhere you go and everything you see is the biggest and the best or the one and only! Even the building that is being built to be the tallest in the world is being made so that if somebody builds one taller then they can add to it!
First picture: Picture of the skyline from the creek.
