We began today looking at the museum, it was done really well. Above are pictures of Josh outside the museum and in front of a traditional dowl boat. Then we went to a traditional souk and a textile souk, there is a picture of me in the souk - where i brought the skirt!
Then we went on a 1 hour dowl curise up the river and got some more picutres of the buildings and things - without the sandstorm! It was still quite cold though, only 25 degrees and a little windy - you notice we still only had shorts on, but cold for what we have been used to!
See the next blog for photos and descriptions of landmark stuff! We got up really early and were at the museum at 9am and on the boat at 1130! It was very busy fitting everything in! There's heaps to do/see in Dubai and 3 days was not really enough, especially when we were so tired the first day! I forgot to mention we did have to have a nap on the first day for a few hours. It wasn't so bad for me because i slept a few hours on the plane, but Josh had been awake for over 24hrs.
